Video Saturday #4 – Weird Al Yankovic

And it’s already Video Saturday again. Time passes almost too quickly. Especially on the weekend itself.

Today I would like to show you some of the really good parodies “Weird Al” Yankovic has made. Although you might say that he just copies other people’s song, and where’s the talent in that, just listen to his lyrics (he knows what he’s singing about) and listen to how well he actually covers the music itself. Besides, he doesn’t only make parodies. But mostly.

Anyway, without further ado, here we go:

ORIGINAL: Chamillionaire – Riding Dirty

PARODY: “Weird Al” Yankovic – White & Nerdy

ORIGINAL: Madonna – Like A Virgin

PARODY: “Weird Al” Yankovic – Like A Surgeon

ORIGINAL: Puff Daddy – It’s All About The Benjamins (rock remix)

PARODY: “Weird Al” Yankovic – It’s All About The Pentiums

ORIGINAL: Nirvana – Smells Like Teen Spirit

PARODY: “Weird Al” Yankovic – Smells Like Nirvana

ORIGINAL: Michael Jackson – Bad

PARODY: “Weird Al” Yankovic – Fat

ORIGINAL: Coolio – Gangsta’s Paradise

PARODY: “Weird Al” Yankovic – Amish Paradise

That’s enough for now. Here are some more links if you want to look more into the music of “Weird Al”.

“Weird Al” Yankovic – Couch Potato (parody of “Lose Yourself” by Eminem)
